| Chix is a DJ/producer currently living in Southampton, originally from the Welshest part of Welsh Wales. Since 1996 he has been a permanent fixture in the South Coast dance music scene. DJing at nights such as Hush, Pure, Vision Funk, Critical Breaks, Audacity, HipDrop and Influenza, he rips up the dance floor with funky crossover & bassline breaks, both Nu and Old Skool.
As well as being a DJ, Chix has been writing and producing tracks since he was 18. Chix has just finished his 5th album "JellyBass", a joint effort with another Southampton producer 'TnG'. Although JellyBass is downtempo, most of Chix's work is Breakbeat, ranging from melodic vocal crossover to instrumental bassline. Chix also leads a live drum n' bass/electronica/breaks band called 'Gojira' featuring a mix of manually controlled computer loops, synths, live vocals, live drums, bass and dex.
